2016

Haas F1 Team became the first American F1 constructor since 1986, entering the championship with Romain Grosjean and Esteban Gutierrez. Grosjean scored points on debut in Australia. The team finished 8th in the constructors' championship with 29 points, a remarkable result for a brand-new outfit.

2017-2018

Kevin Magnussen joined alongside Grosjean for 2017, giving the team an experienced and aggressive lineup. In 2018, the VF-18 was genuinely competitive in the midfield and the team finished 5th in the constructors' championship with 93 points, its best result to that point and a sign of the potential within the outfit.

2019-2020

Performance fell away sharply. Tyre management and car set-up issues plagued both seasons, with the team collecting just 28 points in 2019 and 3 points in 2020. Development resources were redirected toward the sweeping 2022 regulation changes rather than chasing short-term gains.

2021

A deliberate reset year. Nikita Mazepin and Mick Schumacher were signed as part of a full rebuild, and the team scored zero points across the season. The focus was entirely on developing the 2022 car under the new regulations.

2022

The VF-22 was a major step forward. Kevin Magnussen returned after a year away and immediately qualified on pole at the Sao Paulo sprint shootout. The team finished 8th with 37 points, showing that Haas was back as a genuine midfield competitor.

2023

Nico Hulkenberg replaced Schumacher for 2023. Despite high expectations, the VF-23 lacked the pace to consistently fight for points and the team finished 10th with just 12 points. Reliability issues and car balance problems were recurring themes throughout the season.

2024

Hulkenberg's best season at Haas. The VF-24 was more consistent and the team finished 7th in the constructors' championship with 58 points, its strongest result since 2018. Hulkenberg was a particular standout, earning recognition as one of the most improved midfield performers of the year.

2025

Hulkenberg departed to join Audi for 2026, and Haas signed Oliver Bearman and Esteban Ocon for the upcoming season. In Magnussen's final year, the team collected 44 points and finished 9th, a solid if unspectacular campaign as Haas prepared for a significant change in direction.

2026

Under team principal Ayao Komatsu and with the new VF-26, Haas enters the ground-up 2026 regulation cycle with Bearman and Ocon. Backed by increased Toyota investment and one of the most exciting young lineups on the grid, the team is targeting consistent points finishes and a move up the midfield.
