Arvid Lindblad made his Formula 1 debut in 2026 with Visa Cash App Racing Bulls, becoming the sole rookie on the grid. At just 18 years old, he was the youngest driver on the 2026 starting grid. Partnered with Liam Lawson, Lindblad faced the steep learning curve of Formula 1 with composure. He scored his first points in Japan with an impressive 8th place finish, then added another point in Miami with a 10th. A mechanical failure on the grid cost him a likely points finish in Canada, where he failed to start after his car wouldn't select gear. He kept adding to his tally with points finishes in Barcelona, Austria, Great Britain, Belgium and Hungary, and delivered a new career-best sixth place at Monaco. Further points followed at Monza and in Madrid's inaugural Spanish Grand Prix.
