1951

Ferrari began its career in Formula 1, participating in four races with two different models, the 375 F1 and the 212 F1. The team achieved its first victory at the British Grand Prix thanks to the Argentine driver José Froilán González.

1952

Ferrari competed with the 500 F2 model, designed by Aurelio Lampredi. The Italian driver Alberto Ascari obtained the team's first world title for drivers.

1953

Ferrari defended his title with the 500 F2 model and Ascari achieved his second consecutive championship. In 1954, Ferrari presented the 553 F1, which allowed them to win the British Grand Prix, but they could not defend their title and it was taken by the Mercedes Benz drivers.

1955

Ferrari achieved its first double in the championship, with the 555 F1, once again Ascari being the champion of the season.

1956

In 1956, the team presented the 246 F1 model, which was used by Juan Manuel Fangio to achieve his fourth world title, the first with Ferrari.

1957

Fangio left the team and Ferrari had the presence of British driver Mike Hawthorn. With the 801 F1 model, Ferrari achieved its third constructors' title, but Hawthorn won the drivers' championship by just one point from Fangio.

1958

In 1958, Ferrari introduced the 246 F1 model again, but the championship went to Hawthorn again, although Ferrari failed to win the constructors' title.

1959

Ferrari introduced the 246 Dino model, and while they failed to win the drivers' or constructors' titles, they did score five victories at the hands of Hawthorn and American pilot Phil Hill. Finally, in 1960, Hill won the drivers' championship and Ferrari achieved its fourth constructors' title with the 246 F1 model.

1960

Ferrari had Phil Hill, Wolfgang von Trips, Richie Ginther, Cliff Allison and Willy Mairesse as drivers. Despite Cooper's dominance in racing, Ferrari managed to win the Italian Grand Prix, thanks to the 246 P's new rear engine and the 156 model used in Formula 2. This win was the team's only win of the season. In addition, it is important to note that in the 1960 season there was an accident in which von Trips died at the Italian Grand Prix, as well as other spectators, which led to the cancellation of the race and the suspension of the season for a few weeks.

1961

Ferrari won its first constructors' championship and American driver Phil Hill won the drivers' championship with the Italian team, what was his only driver's title in Formula 1. Ferrari won five Grands Prix that year: the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Great Britain and Italy.

However, in 1982, Ferrari had a difficult season after Villeneuve died in a crash during qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix. Despite everything, the driver Didier Pironi led the championship standings until the last race, but a collision with his teammate, which cost him the race, left him without the title.

1982

In the 1982 Formula 1 season, Ferrari had a year full of ups and downs. Legendary driver Gilles Villeneuve died in qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix, despite these setbacks, Pironi managed to finish the season in second place in the drivers' championship, just five points behind winner Keke Rosberg. Ferrari also won the constructors' championship that year. This season is considered one of the most dramatic in the history of Formula 1 and Ferrari played an important role in it.

1987

Johansson was replaced by Gerhard Berger, who won his first race with Ferrari at the final race of the season in Australia.

1988

Ferrari managed to interrupt the winning streak of the McLaren team, led by Senna and Prost, by taking an upset victory at the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, shortly after the death of Enzo Ferrari. 2018

Ferrari had a tough season, finishing second in the constructors' championship with six wins.

Ferrari started the season with a car that seemed to be very competitive, taking two victories in the first three races. However, for the rest of the season, they were unable to keep up with Mercedes and finished second in the Constructors' Championship, while their lead driver Sebastian Vettel came second in the Drivers' Championship.

2019

Ferrari started the season with a car that looked very strong in pre-season testing, but a series of problems in the opening races left them behind Mercedes. Despite a few wins throughout the season, Ferrari were unable to match the pace of Mercedes and finished second in the Constructors' Championship, while their drivers, Vettel and Charles Leclerc, came fourth and fifth in the Drivers' Championship, respectively.

2020

The season was delayed and shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but Ferrari had a particularly difficult year. They struggled with pacing and reliability issues during all season and only managed one victory at the Italian Grand Prix thanks to an accident involving other drivers and a controversial penalty. They ended up in a distant sixth in the Constructors' Championship, his worst result since 1980, and Vettel finished thirteenth in the Drivers' Championship.

2021

Ferrari had a slight improvement in their pace and reliability, but they still couldn't match the pace of Mercedes and Red Bull. At the Italian Grand Prix, Verstappen again took victory and ruined the Ferrari party at his own house, although Sainz Jr. managed a good result by finishing in second place.

2023

In the 2023 Formula 1 season, Ferrari had an up-and-down campaign. The team failed to keep up with Red Bull, but improved compared to 2022, standing out at some circuits. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz showed good pace, although they faced reliability and car performance issues, especially in key races. Despite some podiums, Leclerc failed to score wins, and a lack of consistency in strategy also affected results. Ferrari struggled with tyre management and race management. The team showed progress, but a lack of competitiveness against Red Bull limited its title aspirations.

2024

With the 2024 Formula 1 season still underway or about to begin, no definitive details can be provided. However, Ferrari is starting with high expectations after the challenges of 2023. They have made adjustments to their car and strategies to be more competitive against Red Bull, with a focus on improving reliability and consistency. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz continue as the lead drivers, hoping for better results. Ferrari has also revamped its technical structure to try to make up for lost ground.
