Lance Stroll was born on October 29, 1998 in Montreal, Canada. From an early age, he demonstrated an interest and passion for the world of motorsports, influenced in large part by the presence of his father, Lawrence Stroll, who is a successful businessman and lover of sports cars. The Stroll family enjoyed a lavish lifestyle, and this allowed Lance Stroll to grow up surrounded by performance cars and motorsport events. As he grew older, Stroll began to develop his skills as a driver in different disciplines, including karting.

The young Lance showed a natural talent for driving and quickly began to stand out in the world of karting. His determination and focus on motorsport led him to compete in various national and international karting championships, where he racked up victories and demonstrated his potential as a driver. The next step in Stroll's career was to make the jump to the single-seater categories. In 2014, he joined the Italian Formula 4 team, where he impressed with his speed and on-track skills. His success in Formula 4 opened the doors for him to advance to higher levels of motorsport. Lance Stroll continued to rise up the single-seater categories and in 2015 he competed in the Formula 3 EuroCup. Despite being relatively young compared to other drivers, Stroll showed impressive performance and clinched the Formula 3 EuroCup champion title in 2016.

His success in Formula 3 drew the attention of Formula 1 teams, and in 2017, Lance Stroll made his debut in motorsport's top flight as a driver for Williams Racing. His arrival in Formula 1 was notable not only for his on-track ability, but also for his backing by his father, Lawrence Stroll, who was involved in the team's takeover. His pre-career history in motorsport shows how family background and financial opportunities played a part in Lance Stroll's rise to high-level racing. His passion for motorsport, combined with his natural talent, allowed him to overcome obstacles and achieve his dream of racing in Formula 1.

2017

Lance Stroll made his Formula 1 debut in the 2017 season with the Williams Racing team. Despite his youth and lack of experience in the top flight, he impressed in his first season. He scored his first point in his third Grand Prix, finishing in 9th position at the Canadian Grand Prix, his home race. As the season progressed, Stroll demonstrated steady progress and showed his ability in changing conditions. The culmination of his season came at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, where Lance Stroll took an impressive second place, becoming the youngest driver to stand on the podium in Formula 1 at the time. His performance during his rookie season left a positive impression and solidified his place on the grid for future seasons.

2018

In the 2018 season, Stroll continued to race with Williams Racing. However, the team had a less competitive overall performance compared to previous years. Despite the difficulties, Stroll managed to score points in a few races, but it did not reach the level of success that he had experienced in his debut season.

2019

In 2019, the Racing Point team (now known as the Aston Martin F1 Team) signed Lance Stroll as one of their drivers. The season proved to be a challenging one for the team, but Stroll scored some notable points in races in which he demonstrated his ability in difficult conditions. He finished the season in 15th position in the drivers' championship.

2020

It was a key moment for Stroll and the Racing Point team. That year's car proved to be competitive and Stroll capitalized on multiple occasions. At the chaotic Italian Grand Prix, Stroll scored his first Formula 1 podium finish by crossing the finish line in third place. Throughout the season, he consistently scored points, finishing 11th in the drivers' championship.

2021

The season marked the rebirth of the team under the name Aston Martin Cognizant F1 Team. Stroll continued as one of its primary pilots. Although the season was not as outstanding as the previous one, Stroll managed to score points in several races and showed his ability on the track at key moments.

2022

This year presented new challenges for Stroll and his team. As the midfield fight intensified, Stroll worked hard to maintain his position in the races and score points where possible. His focus on consistency and perseverance carried through the season. In short, Lance Stroll's career in Formula 1 from 2017 to 2022 showed his evolution as a driver and his adaptability to different conditions and challenges on the track. Although he did not rise to the level of a title contender, Stroll proved to be a competent driver capable of getting results in a highly competitive environment.

2023

In the 2023 Formula 1 season, the Canadian had a difficult start to the season, with some performance struggles compared to his experienced teammate. Despite the difficulties, Stroll showed moments of skill, especially on highly challenging circuits such as Baku, where he achieved a strong qualifying position. However, his consistency was affected by several errors and technical problems throughout the year. Despite the criticism, he kept his place in the team, with Aston Martin standing out for its improved competitiveness on the grid. Stroll ended the season without a win, but with some important points that contributed to the team's progress.

2024

In the 2024 Formula 1 season, Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll faced significant challenges. He started the year with a 10th-place finish at the Bahrain Grand Prix, but then suffered a string of disappointing results, including multiple retirements and few points finishes. Despite criticism, such as from Guenther Steiner, who questioned his dedication to the sport, Stroll renewed his contract with Aston Martin until at least 2026.The season was marked by mistakes and a lack of consistency, with Stroll finishing 13th in the drivers' championship.
