George Russell is a British racing driver who currently competes in Formula 1 for the Mercedes team. He was born on February 15, 1998 in King's Lynn, Norfolk, England. Russell began his motorsport career at the age of seven in 2006 and has participated in various single-seater competitions since the 2014 season. He has competed in the GP3 Series and European Formula 3. In 2012, Russell became European champion in the CIK-FIA KF3 category.
Then, in 2014, he claimed the British Formula 4 title and earned a place in European Formula 3, where he competed in the 2015 and 2016 courses, taking three wins in total. In January 2017, Russell joined Mercedes' youngsters programme, giving him the opportunity to work in the simulator and take a two-day test with the Mercedes W08 in August of the same year. During that year, he also competed in the GP3 Series, where he excelled and achieved victory with confidence.
George Russell is a British racing driver who has had an outstanding career: In 2014 Russell competed in several single-seater championships. He participated in the Formula Renault 2.0 Alps Championship with the Koiranen GP team, where he finished fourth in the championship despite missing a round due to illness. He also competed in the BRDC Formula 4 Championship with the Lanan Racing team, where he achieved five wins and became champion, becoming the youngest driver to win the McLaren Autosport BRDC Award.

Despite some initial challenges, he managed to win the GP3 championship, beating the likes of Anthoine Hubert and Jack Aitken. This success allowed her to advance to the next stage of his career. In 2018, Russell participated in the Formula 2 Championship with the ART Grand Prix team. Despite a slow start, he was able to excel and win the Formula 2 championship with a win in the feature race in Abu Dhabi. This achievement made him one of the few drivers to win both the GP3 and Formula 2 championships in his rookie season.
2019
George Russell made his Formula 1 debut as a Williams driver. He participated in all the races of the season, but failed to score points in any of them. He finished 20th in the drivers' championship that year.
2020
