Gabriel Bortoleto was born on October 14, 2004 in São Paulo, Brazil. From an early age he showed an interest in motorsport and began his career in karting, where he competed at national and international level. His talent and outstanding results in karting allowed him to make the jump to single-seaters in 2020, making his debut in Italian Formula 4 with the Prema team. In his first season, he achieved podium finishes and demonstrated his potential as a driver.
Gabriel Bortoleto began his career in motorsport through karting, competing in national and international championships in Brazil and Europe. From an early age, he demonstrated great talent and skill on the track, achieving outstanding performances that caught the attention of single-seater teams. In 2020, he made the jump to single-seaters, debuting in Italian Formula 4 with the Prema team, where he achieved podiums and accumulated experience in his first season. The following year, he competed in the European Regional Formula with FA Racing, facing more experienced drivers and acquiring a higher level of competitiveness. In 2022, he joined R-ace GP in the same category, where he achieved his first important victories and established himself as one of the young promises of motorsport. These first years in motorsport were fundamental for his development and prepared him for his successful promotion to Formula 3 and Formula 2.

Gabriel Bortoleto has not yet made his debut as a Formula 1 driver, but in 2024 he took his first steps in the category by being incorporated into McLaren's development program. As part of **McLaren Driver Development**, his role includes simulator work and preparation for a possible future in F1. At the same time, he competes in Formula 2 with Invicta Racing, where he seeks to consolidate himself and demonstrate his talent in the run-up to the top category. His performance is closely followed by McLaren and other teams, positioning him as one of the young promises of motorsport. And he was selected as the second driver for Kick Sauber, giving Brazil the opportunity to have a driver to represent them.
